Place the crimp onto the yarn, 25cm/10” from the edge of the necklace.

Protect your crimp from toolmarks by placing a little piece of fabric over it - or fold up the end of your yarn.

Squeeze the crimp with the pliers.

Tie a knot at the end of the yarn, close to the edge of the crimp.

Trim the yarn close to the knot.
